Wow, my first time seeing this exceptional band, and I was not disappointed.
I'm old, so much so, the first album I ever bought way back in 1973 was Dark side Of The Moon at the tender age of 11. It began a lifetime obsession with Music and Pink Floyd have always been around, even when I have gone through various stages of my musical journey, crossing classic rock bands, metal, Punk, Americana and such, you can always fall back into Floyd to soothe and heal your soul.
Knowing the music so well was a real worry going to see Think Floyd, I mean, I pretty much know every note of Floyd from Meddle upwards. Think Floyd nailed it, from the Opening of Shine On Your Crazy Diamond, they let the music do the talking, and it spoke volumes of the exceptional band they are. The evening passed by all too soon after two hours twenty minutes, which simply flew by, if they had played for another two hours I would have still been happy.
In short, I hope to see these guys again and again, because they have cured me of my cover band phobia.
